Speaking of unicycles - Terry Peterson (the UniGeezer) recently completed a 100 mile ride at age 54.5.  He completed 104 miles on an almost identical setup as I will be riding in September.  Terry rode for the American Cancer Society and I will be riding for the Kidney Trust.

A b!ke shop in lower Manhattan had a unicycle in the window, so, of course, I decided to take it for a spin.  I miss my 36”.  It would be a blast to explore NYC on one wheel.

This isn’t about free kayaking (but it could be, I mean really, FREE kayaking).  It’s about community.  We have been in NYC for two days and are already amazed by the obvious and welcoming opportunities to get involved in cool groups or meet up with like minded people.  Looking forward to the next 12 days.

I just bought this on a t-shirt today in NYC.  Couldn’t resist the MS Paint art.  Needless to say, this was also the catalyst for me finally getting a tumblr account - one more thing to keep up with. (via butsneeriouslyguys)
